Avery M. Scheiner, M.D., FAAD
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Scheiner earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. Following his internship in internal medicine, Dr. Scheiner completed his dermatology residency at the New York University Medical Center Skin and Cancer Unit where he continued his affiliation teaching and supervising dermatology residents for over 17 years.
Dr. Scheiner is well known for his expertise in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology. His opinions and consultations are frequently sought out for his insight and expertise on emerging dermatologic therapies.
The many procedures he performs include skin cancer surgery, Botox injections, laser destruction of brown age/sun spots, laser destruction of blood vessels, mole removal, and laser rejuvenation of sun damaged/wrinkled skin.
Dr. Scheiner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Shireen Golpanian, MD
Dr. Shireen Golpanian is a board-certified dermatologist at New York Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology. She offers comprehensive care for both adults and children. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from New York University before completing medical school at the University of Miami, where she was awarded the prestigious Research Distinction Award for her work on chronic itch. She has presented her research at national conferences and has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals on this topic. Dr. Golpanian went on to complete her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Having trained extensively with diverse patient populations, Dr. Golpanian is experienced in treating a wide range of skin types and conditions. Dr. Golpanian has a special interest in integrative dermatology, combining traditional medical therapies with a holistic perspective to address skin concerns from multiple angles. She values a thoughtful, personalized approach to care and is committed to helping her patients achieve healthy skin and lasting confidence.
